Easton Project

Easton Project

Envisioning a world where everybody can access care.

Call to Action

As a registered charity based in Montreal, Easton Project was created in response to critical gaps in addiction and mental health care systems.

With your support, Easton Project is building a responsive, inclusive system, with volunteers, helping professionals and departments from McGill and UQAM, to coordinate timely care.

We envision a future where nobody facing addiction or mental health challenges is forgotten.

Investing in individual health, strengthening our collective future.

Easton Project
Mike - Co-Founder

“After spending a decade as the director of Andy's House Treatment Centre, it became abundantly clear that despite our best efforts, there are simply not enough resources or funding available for individuals struggling with addiction and mental health challenges in Quebec.

Easton Project was born out of a deep commitment to help bridge these critical gaps in care and to provide the kind of support that can transform lives.”

Mike Weston,

Co-Founder of Easton Project

Our Mission & Activities

A recent poll conducted by public sector psychologists found wait times for psychotherapy in Quebec are typically between 6-24 months (Government of Quebec) Our mission is to change the status quo by improving access to behavioural health and addiction treatment in Quebec.

From long wait times to financial constraints and a lack of transitional housing, the path to recovery is often obstructed.

Our three pronged model provides swift, compassionate and practical support, helping individuals take action when they are ready to seek help and stay the course toward long term healing.

Screenings & Referrals

Through in person and virtual evaluations, we match individuals in need with the most suitable addiction and mental health treatment resources.

Subsidization

Thanks to donor support, our sliding-scale funding helps make treatment more accessible when public services are limited or unavailable, giving clients the best chance at success.

Sober Living

Through the operation of a sober living house, we provide people who have completed a treatment program with safe, sober accommodations as they transition into independent living.
